What you will do

• Serve as the primary SME for federal OSHA, EPA, and state/local environmental and safety regulations across U.S. operating sites.
• Design, lead, and manage the internal and third-party EHS audit program, including findings management and corrective action tracking.
• Identify, assess, and document EHS and operational risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.
• Maintain hazardous waste documentation, permits, licenses, and SPCC/SWPPP plans.
• Partner independently with Ops, construction, and engineering teams to embed compliance requirements into daily operations and workflows.
• Compile and report compliance and risk metrics, audit results, and trends to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in EHS regulatory compliance, risk management, and auditing, preferably in data center or high-hazard industrial operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related U.S. environmental/safety regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience designing audit programs and driving corrective actions to closure.
• Hands-on experience with EHS management systems such as VelocityEHS, Intelex, or Cority.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical data center experience.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, CIH, or NEBOSH.
• Experience with ISO management system standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Experience supporting compliance programs across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
