Salary: $175,000–$235,000 base compensation.

What you will do

• Design and validate rack-level power distribution, redundancy, and sequencing configurations.
• Build and test complete rack configurations in the lab prior to customer deployment.
• Develop and own precise installation checklists and procedures for field teams.
• Execute on-site installations and sign off on electrical power integration.
• Debug complex rack-level issues spanning power, thermal, and mechanical domains.
• Coordinate with customer network engineering teams to align power integration with existing topologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data center network engineering, electrical power systems, or rack-level infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of rack-level networking (switching, VLANs, configuration).
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution (PDUs, power shelves, redundancy).
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools like TOR switch CLIs, SSH, Wireshark, and DCIM software.
• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel periodically for site visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with out-of-band management interfaces like IPMI, Redfish, or iDRAC.
• Familiarity with thermal and mechanical integration considerations.
• Prior experience creating field installation documentation.
• Background in customer-facing or field-deployment engineering roles.
