TL;DR
Director of Business Development (SaaS): Leading the global BDR organization to drive qualified pipeline generation and go-to-market execution with an accent on outbound sequencing, ICP targeting, and global team scaling. Focus on building a high-performing BDR function, optimizing the BDR-to-AE handoff, and aligning pipeline strategies with Marketing and Revenue Operations.
Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States or Canada). does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Compensation: $231K – $330K USD OTE / CA$334.6K – CA$478K CAD OTE + Equity

What you will do
- Lead and optimize the global BDR organization overseeing inbound and outbound pipeline generation across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Refine the BDR playbook, including outbound sequencing, messaging, ICP targeting, and qualification criteria.
- Manage pipeline coverage models, ensuring accountability for generation targets across all segments and regions.
- Partner with the CMO and Marketing leadership on strategic initiatives, campaign alignment, and lead routing.
- Develop and coach BDR managers and individual contributors across multiple time zones to raise performance standards.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to maintain high-quality BDR-to-AE handoffs and drive joint accountability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of sales or business development experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading BDR or SDR teams at a B2B SaaS or infrastructure software company.
- Proven track record of building and scaling global BDR functions and achieving quota attainment.
- Proficiency with modern prospecting tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Lusha.
- Experience operating in high-growth, product-led or hybrid GTM environments.
- Must be based in the United States or Canada.
