TL;DR

Market Intelligence & Positioning Specialist (SaaS): Managing the operational backbone of product marketing and competitive intelligence to ensure sales teams have accurate, battle-tested messaging and market insights. Focus on building win/loss and competitive intelligence programs from the ground up while translating complex product roadmaps into actionable field enablement content.

Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $155,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

  • Maintain and version all customer-facing product messaging, collateral, and enablement assets.
  • Coordinate end-to-end product launch execution, including briefs and asset production timelines.
  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence program, including tracking infrastructure and battlecards.
  • Establish a win/loss program to surface actionable insights for sales and leadership.
  • Manage company presence on review platforms like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights.
  • Act as a primary liaison between product and marketing teams to ensure alignment on roadmap and market positioning.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • Significant experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or market research, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to build programs from scratch rather than just contributing to existing ones.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, usable content.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing timelines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with competitive and review platforms such as Crayon, Klue, G2, or Gartner Peer Insights.
