What you will do

• Build, train, and validate deep learning models using transformer architectures and foundation models.
• Develop predictive models for digital twins, endpoint prediction, and clinical trial optimization.
• Apply transfer learning to adapt models across diverse healthcare datasets like EHR and claims data.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to scale research solutions into production-grade tools.
• Document model design and explain technical limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art deep learning methods to drive the research agenda.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent industry expertise.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building and shipping deep learning models in industry or research.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience working with large-scale longitudinal datasets, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven ability to take models from research prototypes into production environments.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity at the NY office.

Nice to have

• Experience with oncology clinical data or real-world evidence (RWE) research.
• Background in causal inference or statistical methods for time-to-event data.
• Experience with multimodal data (clinical text, imaging) or LLMs for clinical NLP.
• Track record of technical publications or external communications.
