What you will do

  • Build and deploy machine learning models for core Snapchat products.
  • Apply established ML techniques to solve complex, real-world problems.
  • Manage the ML lifecycle, including data analysis, model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement and launch ML-driven features.
  • Design and ship scalable services using high-velocity engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1+ years of post-Bachelor’s machine learning experience or a Master’s degree.
  • Experience developing ML models for ranking, recommendations, search, or content understanding.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the specified US office locations 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Spark ML, or scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of ranking infrastructures and system design.
