What you will do

• Lead the vertical integration of diverse, disease-specific large datasets including transcriptomics, epigenomics, and clinical data.
• Develop computational frameworks and advanced statistical models to associate biological mechanisms with clinical outcomes.
• Design and deploy workflows leveraging interpretable AI to explain underlying biology and mechanisms of action.
• Partner with experimental oncology and machine learning groups to co-create technical roadmaps.
• Validate biomarkers and therapeutic targets by associating pre-clinical model profiles with clinical segments.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of significant postdoctoral or industry experience.
• Proven track record in integrating data from multiple modalities using advanced statistical modeling.
• Expert-level fluency in R and Python.
• Strong foundation in cancer biology and oncogenic signaling.
• Must be able to work onsite in South San Francisco at least 3 days a week.
