What you will do

• Develop and maintain production-grade ML services for health features in collaboration with Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers.
• Optimize research prototypes for scale, latency, and cost efficiency in production environments.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance ML pipelines, tooling, and validation systems.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through active participation in on-call rotations.
• Align model development with health insights and member impact in partnership with product teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning or Software Engineer building production ML systems.
• Proven experience working with time series data, preferably from wearables or high-frequency sensors.
• Strong coding skills in Python with a focus on clean, well-tested, production-quality code.
• Experience deploying and maintaining ML systems on AWS or GCP, including CI/CD and observability.
• Strong fundamentals in backend service development, including APIs, reliability, and monitoring.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience developing ML-enabled software in regulated environments (e.g., SaMD/medical devices).
• Demonstrated technical leadership through architecture ownership and mentorship.
• Track record of driving measurable improvements in system performance and reliability at scale.
