Director Logistics (LATAM)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; flexible work model combining purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility.

What you will do

• Design and implement the LATAM logistics strategy across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
• Oversee ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, domestic distribution, and regional transportation networks.
• Manage logistics budgets, forecasting, cost-saving initiatives, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Lead and develop regional teams, including senior managers based in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.
• Manage relationships with shipping lines, customs brokers, 3PLs, retailers, distributors, and customs authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Spanish and English proficiency required, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain and logistics experience within multinational companies.
• Experience managing multi-country logistics operations and cross-border teams in LATAM.
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, customs processes, warehousing, distribution, trade compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong strategic leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Experience in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading multicultural and diverse teams.
