What you will do

• Oversee all operational aspects in Mexico, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with global standards.
• Develop and execute local business strategy to drive growth and profitability.
• Identify, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with local partners to expand the service network.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local team and set day-to-day culture and values.
• Own hirify.global Mexico’s commercial strategy, including managing the local sales organization and acquiring new customers.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to find opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, including at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record growing freight forwarding business in Mexico with strong relationships with local buyers.
• Deep understanding of the Mexico logistics landscape, including experience working with local partners, airlines, shipping lines, and government regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills for managing customer and partner relationships.
• Hands-on experience managing complex supply chain operations, including process improvement and technology implementation.
