What you will do

• Lead ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage operations for the Guadalajara office, maintaining service levels, compliance, and efficiency.
• Develop relationships with Mexican carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokers to improve rates, capacity, and reliability.
• Drive customer success by resolving operational issues, maintaining service quality, and strengthening client relationships.
• Serve as the local site leader and represent hirify.global with vendors, landlords, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Build the office's operating model, team structure, and ways of working as headcount and freight volume increase.
• Identify repetitive manual work and drive adoption of automation and AI-powered tools across Mexico operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end multimodal freight operations in Mexico, including ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage.
• Established relationships with major logistics providers and customs brokerage firms operating in Mexico.
• Ability to represent the local operation credibly and lead office execution across internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication required.
• Strong interest in using automation and AI-driven tools to improve operational workflows.
