What you will do

• Review and monitor approved purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Track price trends and maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, and prices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and internal customers to ensure adequate supply sources.
• Support delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products and services aligned with client core values and strategic plans.
• Collaborate with team members to implement product conversions, system changes, and process improvement opportunities.
• Stay current with Supply Chain Management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of applicable work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to operate computer programs and software.
• Effective communication in person and electronically; ability to make independent decisions.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of purchasing experience in healthcare.
• Bachelor’s degree.
