Salary: $150,400–$225,600 USD

What you will do
- Lead instrument software and firmware development programs for implantable cardiac devices.
- Manage program estimation, planning, scheduling, and tracking across agile/scrum teams.
- Collaborate with architects, systems engineers, and product managers to drive program scope and milestones.
- Provide work direction to software engineers and manage vendor resources.
- Communicate program status, risks, and quality metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure effective cross-discipline coordination and foster a positive, cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with minimum 5 years of technical work experience.
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in project management and technical leadership.
- Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in Mounds View, MN.
- Experience managing complex programs in a matrix environment.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience leading software development projects in the Med-Tech industry.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working in regulated environments and global regulatory compliance.
- Track record of managing geographically distributed teams and vendors.
