What you will do

• Lead instrument software and firmware development programs for implantable cardiac devices.
• Manage program estimation, planning, scheduling, and tracking across agile/scrum teams.
• Collaborate with architects, systems engineers, and product managers to drive program scope and milestones.
• Provide work direction to software engineers and manage vendor resources.
• Communicate program status, risks, and quality metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure effective cross-discipline coordination and foster a positive, cohesive team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with minimum 5 years of technical work experience.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience in project management and technical leadership.
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in Mounds View, MN.
• Experience managing complex programs in a matrix environment.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience leading software development projects in the Med-Tech industry.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience working in regulated environments and global regulatory compliance.
