Software Engineer (Azure NetApp Files)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; hybrid working environment with some in-office and/or in-person expectations

Salary: $113,050–$168,300 per year, with final compensation based on location, qualifications, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Develop and operate cloud-scale distributed systems for Azure hirify.global Files.
• Own features across design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Design cloud-native services using containers, microservices, distributed-systems principles, and CI/CD practices.
• Improve functional performance, scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, architecture, infrastructure, security, and partner teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, participate in design and code reviews, and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Python experience for test automation, validation frameworks, tooling, CI/CD integration, or operational automation.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs or service-to-service integrations.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating microservices-based applications with Kubernetes and containers.
• Experience with automated testing, performance optimization, security practices, observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of cloud-native distributed systems in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of related experience, a master's degree with 0+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
