Salary: $40,000 - $45,000

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operations for key customer accounts including data entry, load planning, and shipment tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via email and phone.
• Manage relationships with carriers and customers in collaboration with internal teams.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues such as order delays, missed pickups, and damaged freight.
• Learn and utilize transportation management systems to optimize processes and minimize administrative work.
• Communicate updates proactively to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago, IL
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• High School diploma required (BA/BS degree preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
