What you will do

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with shippers and receivers to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis, present pricing proposals, and manage contract negotiations, renewals, and expansions.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet client objectives and achieve company growth targets.
  • Monitor account profitability, financial reports, and assist with billing and collections.
  • Coordinate with internal procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and KPI compliance.
  • Manage shipment-level interactions, including tracking, tracing, and resolving operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in account management within transportation or logistics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 3 years of transportation logistics experience and 1 year of LTL management experience.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM software, and EDI/API concepts.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
