What you will do

• Coordinate daily truck and driver scheduling to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials.
• Manage DOT permitting, equipment registrations, and road tolling accounts (iPass/EZPass).
• Monitor driver logs, Hours of Service (HOS), and general transportation compliance requirements.
• Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and annual DOT inspections in coordination with maintenance teams.
• Track and monitor key performance metrics including service levels, utilization, overtime, and on-time performance.
• Supervise and develop driver talent through coaching, performance feedback, and accountability.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or solid waste operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Niagara Falls, NY.
