TL;DR
Manager, Inclusive Workplace Programs (DEI): Translating overarching DEI strategy into high-impact workplace initiatives with an accent on operationalizing psychological safety and inclusive practices. Focus on managing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), developing actionable toolkits for managers, and tracking program health through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
Location: Must reside in the D.C. Metropolitan Area and be able to work in the Washington, D.C. office at least 10 days per year.
Salary: $142,500 - $158,500 USD

What you will do
- Design and execute organization-wide DEI initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
- Serve as the primary operational advisor for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), managing charters and budgets.
- Create practical toolkits and guides to help people managers embed inclusive leadership into daily workflows.
- Collaborate with the People Team to enhance cultural competency in organizational training.
- Partner with People Partners and Talent Acquisition to integrate inclusive practices into recruitment and retention.
- Monitor KPIs and compile progress reports for leadership to ensure program health and impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in coordinating or executing workplace DEI initiatives.
- Demonstrated history of advising or leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or affinity networks.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and moderate sensitive dialogues in virtual and in-person settings.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Must reside in the D.C. Metropolitan Area to support hybrid office requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Formal certification in DEI methodology or inclusive leadership coaching.
- Previous experience in a media organization, creative industry, or public service environment.
