What you will do

• Support biology laboratories and tissue culture facilities, including preparing tissue culture media and reagents using sterile Good Laboratory Practice techniques.
• Maintain consumables inventory and manage waste streams efficiently.
• Operate specialized equipment such as autoclaves, glass wash machines, and dispensers.
• Ensure laboratory housekeeping and cleanliness standards, and manage deliveries to maintain supply levels.
• Support Health & Safety, sustainability, and innovation initiatives, including resilience coverage during high-demand periods.

Requirements

• Hands-on laboratory experience with media preparation, aliquoting, and aseptic techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and experience following SOPs.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Ability to be based onsite at Babraham Research Campus.
