What you will do
- Manage high-volume health plan integration workflows and coordinate between internal and external technical teams.
- Drive end-to-end implementation of payer integrations, resolving technical and communication barriers.
- Analyze backend data structures and integration protocols, including 837/835 transaction loops and provider configuration profiles.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to integration, billing, and system configuration.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align external payer systems with internal revenue cycle infrastructure.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment checklists and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience managing integrations or technical operations with health insurance payers and carriers.
- Strong technical understanding of healthcare EDI transaction infrastructure (837/835 claim files, billing loops).
- Proficiency in querying data in Snowflake and building reports in Looker.
- Deep knowledge of health insurance concepts, payer funding structures, and benefit designs.
- Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance guidelines regarding PHI.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
