What you will do

  • Manage high-volume health plan integration workflows and coordinate between internal and external technical teams.
  • Drive end-to-end implementation of payer integrations, resolving technical and communication barriers.
  • Analyze backend data structures and integration protocols, including 837/835 transaction loops and provider configuration profiles.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to integration, billing, and system configuration.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align external payer systems with internal revenue cycle infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment checklists and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing integrations or technical operations with health insurance payers and carriers.
  • Strong technical understanding of healthcare EDI transaction infrastructure (837/835 claim files, billing loops).
  • Proficiency in querying data in Snowflake and building reports in Looker.
  • Deep knowledge of health insurance concepts, payer funding structures, and benefit designs.
  • Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance guidelines regarding PHI.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
