What you will do

• Lead solution engineering for assigned industry verticals, translating challenges into concrete solution scopes.
• Design and deliver vertical-tailored demonstrations based on realistic industry scenarios and KPIs.
• Own end-to-end proofs-of-concept (POCs) anchored in specific industry value drivers.
• Manage functional RFPs, RFIs, and complex IT integrations with SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, stakeholder mapping, and technical value proposition talk-tracks.
• Feed structured industry insights back to the Product team to influence the development roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, or tech-focused consulting for B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Deep understanding of the value chain, operating models, and regulatory pressures of the target industry.
• Proven track record of owning complex enterprise deals with sizes exceeding €250K.
• Technical fluency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management (SSO), cloud architecture, and data modeling.
• Outstanding communication skills in both German and English.
• Based in Munich.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in Carbon Accounting, Reporting, Traceability, and Product compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow.
• Exposure to Agentic AI in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or French.
