What you will do

• Install, set up, and troubleshoot low voltage infrastructure for networks and physical security systems.
• Deploy and maintain physical security devices including cameras, card readers, control panels, and biometric devices.
• Configure and repair computers, including Windows Operating System configurations and system hardening.
• Interpret technical plans, blueprints, and CAD drawings for the production of hardware installations.
• Manage local procurement and tracking of materials and equipment required for project completion.
• Coordinate the installation of video and data communication lines using hand and power tools.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work in Newark, NJ
• 3 years of relevant computer or installation experience.
• Associate degree (AAS preferred) or equivalent certification and experience.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and work at heights up to 90' using boom lifts.
• Knowledge of OSI model (Layer 1 and 2) and basic networking concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with IP camera installation and maintenance.
• Expertise in troubleshooting low voltage physical security and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, PSP, or BICSI.
