What you will do

• Assist senior field engineers with system commissioning, validation, and testing.
• Follow documented procedures for the configuration of AV equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of AV and IP-based network systems.
• Maintain organized documentation of field observations and test results.
• Prepare tools, test equipment, and materials for field use.
• Collaborate with field teams to support project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Boston Metropolitan Area
• Demonstrated interest in AV or technical systems through education or experience.
• Basic understanding of signal flow and AV system components.
• Ability to obtain Audinate Introduction to IP Networking and Extron AV Associate certifications.
• Willingness to travel and work on active construction or commercial sites.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• AVIXA Recognized Technologist Certificate.
• DSP certification (Biamp, QSC, or BSS).
• Control certification (QSC, Extron, or Crestron).
• Experience with cable termination, racking, or low-voltage installations.
• OSHA-10 or other safety certifications.
