Lead ESS Installation Technician (Security Systems)

Location: Onsite in Mt Pleasant, WI; Chicago, IL; or Milwaukee, WI, USA

What you will do

• Lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians on project sites while performing hands-on installation duties.
• Interpret drawing packages to implement rack build-outs, panel terminations, and device installation.
• Coordinate with project management and site supervisors to maintain job schedules and timelines.
• Maintain detailed written records of work accomplished, project issues, and site inventory using OneNote.
• Perform complex system designs, testing, and troubleshooting without direct supervision.
• Manage communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors on behalf of the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mt Pleasant, WI; Chicago, IL; or Milwaukee, WI, USA.
• 3+ years of recent experience installing access control and video surveillance in large-scale commercial environments.
• Proven experience supervising, training, and coaching other technicians.
• Ability to troubleshoot access control, CCTV, and intercom systems.
• Proficiency with Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam, and Adobe Reader.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain security clearance for local jurisdictions.

Nice to have

• Lenel certification.
• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, or DMP systems.
