Senior Field Service Engineer (Electronic Security)

Location: Must be based in Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA, USA. This is an onsite role.

Salary: $47.64 – $64.42 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for field engineers, providing advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Lead small-scale service projects and system upgrades, coordinating technical resources and schedules.
• Configure and maintain IP-based security systems and networked devices.
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reporting from issue to resolution.
• Act as an onsite liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required due to government customer support.
• 3+ years of experience installing and supporting enterprise-level security systems.
• Industry-recognized certifications in access control or video management systems (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, CCure 9000).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based architectures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio for reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
