What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support BI/MI workloads.
• Manage and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of data platforms and services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers while enforcing best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data retrieval and pipeline development.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, Meltano, DBT) and streaming platforms (Kafka, Redpanda, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency with SQL databases, specifically MySQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with data warehousing tools like Snowflake or Iceberg.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and security best practices.
