Event Manager (Marketing)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows and conferences across DACH and Benelux.
• Develop event strategies aligned with regional marketing, sales, and business objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships from sourcing and negotiation through contract execution.
• Oversee event logistics, including booth design, signage, staffing, and on-site setup/breakdown.
• Define success metrics and track performance to ensure high-ROI execution and pipeline growth.
• Represent the company on-site to ensure a seamless attendee experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing B2B trade shows or conferences, preferably in SaaS, IT, or cybersecurity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• Strong project management and administrative skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Analytical mindset comfortable with defining KPIs and using data for optimization.
• Willingness to travel across DACH, Benelux, and occasionally the Nordics.
• Must have existing work authorization for Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with flagship DACH industry events such as it-sa and CloudFest.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, or a Nordic language.
• Experience in the MSP or IT software industry.
