What you will do

• Analyze 3D CAD part designs for Injection Molding and other tooling technologies.
• Review DFM reports and challenge technical solutions provided by manufacturers.
• Communicate technical solutions and gather feedback from external customers via video calls.
• Optimize 3D CAD designs to improve part feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality claims for molding and casting.
• Provide technical support during pre-sales meetings with potential customers.

Requirements

• Higher engineering degree in thermoplastic processing, plastic part design, or mechanical design.
• Professional experience on a production floor with plastic processing or part development.
• Expert knowledge of thermoplastic processing, part design rules, and tool design.
• Understanding of Mold Flow analysis and its results.
• Knowledge of plastic post-processes such as pad-printing, spray painting, or chroming.
• Strong English communication skills for multicultural stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Vacuum Casting, Compression Molding, Investment Casting, or Metal Injection Molding.
