Lead Mechanical Design Engineer (Gaming Hardware): Leading the mechanical design and CMF development for gaming headsets tailored for the Chinese market with an accent on ergonomic adaptation and extreme durability. What you will do
- Lead mechanical design and CMF development for gaming headsets, from feasibility studies to mass production.
- Research and optimize ergonomics (headband and hinge structures) for local gamers to reduce wearing fatigue.
- Implement DFM and high-strength structural designs to ensure durability in commercial and high-stress scenarios.
- Define and execute CMF specifications, including colors, anti-staining treatments, and eco-friendly packaging.
- Collaborate with PM, EE, and suppliers to refine hardware specifications and resolve technical issues.
- Provide expert mechanical engineering consultancy for product design and issue investigation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development of headset products.
- 3+ years of experience as a technical leader managing ME activities or NPI projects.
- Full lifecycle experience in structural development, mold follow-up, and mass production.
- Proficiency in CAD and deep understanding of plastic/metal/silicone mold processes.
- Expertise in problem-solving (8D, PDCA) and risk assessment (FMEA).
- English: Good oral and written communication skills required.

- Experience with CAE software.
- Background in top-tier peripheral brands or well-known OEMs.
- Advanced knowledge in geometrical tolerance and statistical analysis.
