What you will do

• Drive the product development cycle through iterations, testing, industrialization, and in-market lifecycle management.
• Act as the primary Engineering representative across multiple concurrent optimization and improvement projects.
• Refine and evolve component designs ensuring adherence to exceptionally high quality standards.
• Validate designs using Tolerance stack analysis, bolted joint calculations, and DFMEA.
• Partner with Industrial Design, Product Management, SCM, and Compliance teams to integrate diverse perspectives.
• Implement results from virtual validation simulations and real-world customer feedback.

Requirements

• Proven track record in the bicycle or consumer goods industries.
• Absolute proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD).
• Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
• Experience in steering and working with external engineers.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with composite plastic product engineering and Design For Manufacturing (DFM).
• Proficiency in German.
• Hands-on prototyping experience.
