Solicitor (Legal)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bolton, UK (Hybrid: 1 day per week in office required).

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of household and commercial property recovery files.
• Conduct investigations, review evidence, and perform legal research.
• Draft legal documents and handle pre-action and interim applications.
• Liaise with lay and insurer clients, including senior claims handlers.
• Instruct counsel and experts while attending conferences and trials.
• Prepare and deliver training seminars on technical legal issues for clients.

Requirements

• Must have previous experience in a defendant insurance litigation firm.
• Must have litigation experience specifically relating to recoveries.
• Working knowledge of household and commercial recoveries.
• Ability to work effectively with case management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload.
• Must ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.
