What you will do

• Advise well-known insurers on defended liability and quantum claims, specifically focusing on property risks.
• Conduct legal research, investigations, and review witness and expert evidence.
• Draft court documents, manage disclosure, and prepare trial bundles.
• Instruct counsel and experts and attend conferences and trials.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including mediation.
• Perform advocacy both in person and by telephone.

Requirements

• Previous litigation experience and a degree in Law or a postgraduate qualification.
• Knowledge of property liability, breach of contract, negligence, and subrogated claims.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bolton, UK.
• Ability to manage fast-paced litigation using initiative and a strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with case management systems and ability to record billable time.
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills.

• Previous experience specifically dealing with property insurance claims.
