Senior Director, Physical Security (Telecommunications)

Location: NSW, Australia (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

What you will do

• Lead enterprise physical security strategy, frameworks, standards, and operational delivery.
• Oversee national physical security operations, including the 24/7 Security Operations and Facilities Control Centre.
• Manage the deployment and lifecycle of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Drive compliance with critical infrastructure and security regulatory requirements, including SOCI obligations.
• Manage key security vendors and service providers to ensure effective governance.
• Partner across the business to enhance the safety and security of employees, customers, and assets.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in physical security, protective security, or related disciplines.
• Experience within regulated industries, critical infrastructure, or large complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of physical security operations, technology, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven success managing security incidents, large-scale operations, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and people leadership capability.
