What you will do
- Lead Australia operations and execute the site growth strategy.
- Build site capability and deliver performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Oversee manufacturing, engineering, production, maintenance, planning, quality, environmental, and safety functions.
- Drive 100% quality and 100% on-time delivery while optimizing processes, resources, and production equipment.
- Own site P&L performance, balancing revenue growth, cost control, operational efficiency, and investment priorities.
- Partner with business unit leadership on customer engagement, operational readiness, and program delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing environments, including at least 5 years in defence or aerospace.
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of production processes for complex defence systems, including missile steering controls, actuation systems, or propulsion technologies.
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain at least NV1 Australian security clearance.
- Must pass police checks and employment screening and be able to access ITAR-controlled information.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or MSc.
- Direct experience with missile system technologies.
- Experience partnering across multiple sites or global operations.
