What you will do

• Own the end-to-end field marketing strategy, including budget, calendar, and execution.
• Produce corporate and first-party events such as workshops, meetups, and roadshows.
• Manage third-party conference sponsorships and negotiate vendor partnerships.
• Develop co-marketing relationships with other AI ecosystem vendors.
• Partner with sales to convert in-person interactions into qualified pipeline opportunities.
• Measure and report on key performance metrics including attendance and cost per opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to be in the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid schedule.
• 1–3+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community management within the AI/ML or developer infrastructure space.
• Proven track record of managing events from concept through post-event follow-up.
• Strong pipeline mindset with the ability to demonstrate the ROI of marketing programs.
• Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on operational execution.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships within the AI and developer-tools ecosystem.
• Experience as an early marketing hire building programs from scratch.
• Background in marketing to both technical developers and enterprise buyers.
• Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and event management platforms.
