What you will do
- Own North American Capital clients end-to-end: partner with C-suite stakeholders, drive revenue growth, identify at-risk accounts, and run quarterly business reviews.
- Maximize revenue per customer by pursuing credit line increases, improving utilization, and cross-selling additional Capital products (e.g., term loans, asset-based lines of credit).
- Use supply chain data (shipment patterns, volume spikes, transit times, commercial invoice data) to trigger timely, targeted capital actions.
- Act as frontline commercial intelligence for credit and risk: monitor financial health, repayment behavior, shipment data, and market conditions; flag early warning signals and coordinate actions.
- Build trusted senior relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Founders, and CEOs; position Capital as a strategic working capital partner.
- Lead portfolio strategy and team execution by building systems/playbooks, partnering with Credit/Product/Legal/senior leadership, and informing product/pricing/GTМ decisions from client insights.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, specialty finance, or a related field, with at least 2 years managing a team.
- Proven ability to manage a complex, multi-product lending portfolio with accountability for revenue, retention, and credit health outcomes.
- Fluency in working capital structures and credit operations, including covenant compliance, lien priority, UCC filings, collections, and workout mechanics; ability to lead enforcement conversations and make judgment calls on distressed accounts.
- Track record of driving upsell, cross-sell, and expansion revenue within an existing customer base.
- Excellent communication and executive presence to handle difficult conversations and represent Capital credibly at the highest customer levels.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and data tools; ability to design dashboards and reporting frameworks for real-time portfolio and team performance visibility.
