What you will do
- Run high-quality outbound motions tailored to Japan Strategic & Large Enterprise, DNB, and Startup accounts.
- Turn product usage, inbound interest, and pilot activity into qualified, high-conviction pipeline.
- Partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression.
- Lead high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities and assess enterprise readiness.
- Build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows to scale prospecting and qualification.
- Provide local market feedback to HQ and help improve playbooks for the Japan market.
Requirements
- Native or near-native Japanese with strong business communication skills.
- Business-level English for effective collaboration with HQ.
- 6+ years of total work experience with a strong track record in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
- Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound qualification.
- Strong discovery skills and ability to speak with technical buyers like Engineering, IT, or Data stakeholders.
- High ownership and comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into regulated industries like Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Retail.
- Experience selling API, developer tools, cloud, or security products.
- Hands-on experience using AI and ability to translate technical value into business outcomes.
- Closing or full-cycle sales experience.
