TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (AI): Building and scaling the public sector go-to-market strategy for an internal audit AI platform with an accent on complex, multithreaded sales cycles within federal and government organizations. Focus on driving net new business, navigating public sector procurement, and positioning AI-driven software as a strategic transformation tool.

Location: Must be based in the United States. Up to 30% travel required.

Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 base + commission.

hirify.global is a remote-first startup building automation software for assurance and audit practitioners in cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG.

What you will do

  • Own and build out the public sector territory, starting with a federal focus and expanding into state, local, and higher education.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across a greenfield account base.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets and key sales metrics.
  • Build trust-based relationships with key decision-makers including Inspector Generals and audit directors.
  • Implement sales strategies using the MEDDICC methodology.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5+ years of sales experience as an Account Executive with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Deep understanding of the public sector buying environment including federal, state, and local levels.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions that drive organization-wide transformation.
  • Ability to manage complex, multithreaded sales processes involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable building in ambiguity within a startup environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience working for or selling directly to audit, advisory, or assurance firms.
  • Experience engaging procurement, audit leadership, and technical stakeholders.
