What you will do
- Define and evolve the technical architecture for the AI platform, establishing standards for scalability and security.
- Design and operate AI systems using LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Implement governance, auditability, and traceability frameworks to ensure AI systems are measurable and compliant.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and evaluate emerging AI technologies to inform platform strategy.
- Drive reliability, observability, and incident response practices across production AI systems.
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Must be based in Colombia
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience building and operating production AI systems.
- Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms.
- Extensive experience building and operating production systems on AWS.
- Strong English language communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience operating systems in regulated or compliance-heavy domains.
- Familiarity with accounting, auditing, or financial workflows.
