What you will do

• Design and maintain internal platforms serving Finance, Ops, People, and Engineering teams.
• Own features from initial requirements and architecture through production deployment and monitoring.
• Build API-first integrations across the internal ecosystem, connecting tools like Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite.
• Implement AI/LLM-powered features to automate internal workflows, reporting, and knowledge retrieval.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability to support company growth.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in internal tools, platforms, or business systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong data fundamentals including relational databases, SQL, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain API integrations between third-party SaaS platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal or Airflow.
• Frontend development experience with React or Next.js.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ERP, or people systems data models.
• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM-powered features in a production environment.
