What you will do

• Act as the primary problem solver and technical right-hand to the engineering leader.
• Jointly own platform architecture decisions, including event bus, multi-tenancy, RBAC, and schema registry.
• Develop pattern-setting reference implementations to raise the technical level of the entire team.
• Unblock development squads by jumping into complex code issues and shipping hard features.
• Embed AI capabilities such as LLMs, SLMs, and RAG directly into product features to increase velocity.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on polyglot experience, being fluent in 7+ languages across your career.
• Mandatory senior-level proficiency in Go; high proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in high-capacity distributed systems, including state management, race conditions, and back-pressure.
• Experience with multiple messaging systems (NATS, Kafka, Redpanda, RabbitMQ) and various database types (Relational, KV, Document, Graph).
• Experience with at least two cloud providers, with GCP strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AI engineering, including LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, and agents.
