What you will do

• Define and own the defense strategy across all service branches and government entities.
• Build, hire, and lead the defense organization, including sales and program management.
• Serve as the external face to the DoD, service branches, and prime contractors.
• Lead capture strategy and execution for priority defense procurement pathways.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate warfighter needs into the product roadmap.
• Establish compliance infrastructure including ITAR and CMMC requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or maritime sectors.
• 4+ years of leadership experience building and scaling teams.
• U.S. Person status required to comply with ITAR regulations.
• Proven track record of winning and executing significant defense programs.
• Established relationships with Navy, USMC, USCG, SOCOM, or OSD offices.
• Ability to travel 30–40% to fleet concentration areas.
