Salary: $116,000 - $195,000

What you will do

• Design and iterate on AI agents using orchestrator/sub-agent architecture for intent interpretation and safe action execution.
• Own eval-driven development by building golden datasets, scorers, and regression suites to ensure agent quality.
• Develop and version control prompts and model configurations as tested artifacts.
• Integrate agents with MCP servers and backend tools while implementing guardrails against prompt injection.
• Instrument agents with tracing and metrics to drive production-level quality improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive conversational experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development with hands-on LLM application building.
• Proven development skills in Go, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, building datasets, and defining metrics to drive iteration.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and agent orchestration patterns.
• Deep experience designing and building APIs (gRPC, GraphQL, REST).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks like Google ADK, LangChain, or LangGraph.
• Experience with evaluation platforms such as Braintrust or LangSmith.
• Background in e-commerce platforms or SaaS product development.
• Experience with RAG systems and retrieval quality tuning.
