What you will do
- Provide comprehensive software and hardware support for existing ERP customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical system problems via phone, email, and chat.
- Manage client-server application issues involving Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Server.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to the departmental knowledge base.
- Stay current with software updates to provide accurate and timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient system performance for clients.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from Austin, Texas.
- At least 4 years of experience in service support.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Server and Unidata or PICK databases.
- Experience with database management and architecture.
- Familiarity with Windows server and desktop environments.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Excel, and analytical tools.
- Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP and UDP.
- Experience with financial, manufacturing, or distribution business processes.
- Database administration, installation, and configuration experience.
