What you will do
- Review client financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and analyze benchmarking data and KPIs to support client insights.
- Support budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models aligned with engagement terms.
- Provide technical accounting support on complex issues and present completed reporting packages to clients.
- Identify operational inefficiencies through discovery sessions and recommend actionable improvements.
- Lead and mentor staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- 4–6 years of accounting/advisory/financial reporting experience for skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, senior living, or post-acute healthcare organizations.
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement structures for skilled nursing facilities, including compliance related to documentation, billing accuracy, and regulatory oversight.
- 3+ years managing associates and/or teams.
- Working knowledge of financial reporting and analysis; strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Remote work is available anywhere in the US.
