Manager, Advisory Accounting (Skilled Nursing Industry)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10%

Salary: $107,000–$160,000 annual base pay; eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and analyze benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Present reporting packages and financial findings to clients.
• Provide technical accounting support and identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions.
• Lead US and offshore engagement team members, manage workflows, and maintain consistent client deliverables.
• Coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of accounting, advisory, or financial reporting experience with skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, or post-acute healthcare organizations.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement structures, documentation compliance, billing accuracy, and regulatory oversight for skilled nursing facilities.
• At least 3 years of experience managing associates or teams.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with strong planning, organization, project management, relationship-building, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead teams and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or PointClickCare, and the ability to adopt new technologies.
