Outsourced Financial Advisory Manager (Accounting)

Location: Hybrid, with the compensation range covering offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver outsourced accounting support, including financial planning and analysis, month-end close, consolidations, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Lead recurring client service engagements and provide assistant controller, controller, and CFO-level support.
• Develop client relationships and present financial fluctuation reviews, budget-to-actual analysis, recommendations, and financial reports.
• Apply GAAP and other accounting standards, prepare journal entries and adjustments, and comply with SSARS 21 reporting requirements.
• Coordinate audit and tax information requests, engagement schedules, budgets, deliverables, billing, collections, and realization goals.
• Improve client processes, policies, and procedures while supporting proposals, engagement scopes, budgets, and practice development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, financial reporting, variance analysis, and accounting process improvement skills.
• Ability to coordinate information from management, partners, and engagement teams and execute work on time and within budget.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both in the office and remotely in a hybrid model; U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero, Excel, and Bill.com.
• Bilingual Japanese-English or Chinese-English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
