VP, Head of Business Development – Lending Partnerships (Lending Partnerships): Lead the expansion of Lending through external strategic partnerships with an accent on go-to-market execution, partner channel P&L management, and frictionless partner onboarding. Focus on negotiating complex multi-year revenue-share/white-label deals and building partnership economics backed by analytical rigor across HELOC and unsecured personal loans.
Location: Hybrid options in the Phoenix, AZ metro market; work from home available in other states across the United States
Salary: $250,000 to $275,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do
- Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for third-party lending relationships, owning the full lifecycle from prospecting and negotiation to contract execution and post-deal value creation.
- Manage partner-led channel P&L by optimizing CAC, monitoring pull-through rates, and ensuring partner-driven originations meet volume and profitability benchmarks.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to keep product suites competitive and partner onboarding nearly frictionless.
- Grow HELOC distribution with third parties and scale unsecured personal loan distribution.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with partner decision makers to keep products top-of-mind for high-volume, profitable growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years in business development or Strategic Partnerships within fintech or banking.
- Deep understanding of consumer credit products, including HELOC and unsecured loans.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex, multi-year revenue-share or white-label agreements.
- Strong analytical skills to build business cases and stress test partner projections against actual P&L performance.
- Ability to pivot between personal loans and the more complex regulatory/valuation environment of home equity.
