Salary: $33.00 - $36.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Develop electrical system drawings and models based on project scope and client requirements.
• Coordinate designs and models with other disciplines including HVAC, controls, fire protection, and structural teams.
• Apply knowledge of National Electric Code and municipal standards to all design documentation.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance of construction documents.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Irvine, CA.
• Associate or technical degree from a design, drafting, or BIM program.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical power design drafting or modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Revit models, families, templates, and clash detection tools.
• Solid understanding of power flow, distribution systems, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with power modeling tools such as SKM and EasyPower.
• Design experience in AC/DC power, standby generators, UPS, grounding, lighting, and fire protection systems.
