What you will do
- Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical studies to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Perform equipment and material takeoffs to support accurate cost estimates and procurement.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel to project sites to verify construction activities align with project drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations including NESC, NEC, and OSHA.
- Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to innovative design methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
- Minimum of two years of progressive engineering experience in heavy civil, industrial, utilities, or power generation.
- Strong understanding of electrical design standards and safety codes.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professional conduct.
