What you will do

• Serve as Project Leader for New Product Development from initiation through production.
• Lead the creation of detailed design drawings, 3D models, and bills of material.
• Coordinate with NRTLs to define product evaluation and certification scopes.
• Develop and document test plans for environmental, mechanical, and electrical performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) concepts.
• Conduct failure analyses of existing products to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing low or medium voltage power distribution equipment.
• BSME degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience with NRTL (UL, CSA) evaluation and certification processes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment standards such as UL 891, 1558, 508A, and IEEE C37.20.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for testing and development tasks.
